Project Overview
In collaboration with Text 100, I worked on an animated explainer for Royal London, the UK’s largest mutual life and pensions company. The video was designed to communicate their focus on financial resilience and sustainability, using motion design that’s both informative and approachable.
As a freelance motion graphics designer, I animated clean, concise visuals that supported Royal London’s brand voice while making complex financial themes easier to understand. The project included subtle character animation, dynamic transitions, and purposeful typography — all crafted to resonate with a broad digital audience.
This project highlights how motion graphics can elevate storytelling in financial services, making dense topics more engaging and easier to communicate. Whether you're a brand, agency, or organisation in finance or insurance, I bring experience in blending strategy with creativity to deliver motion design that’s clear, confident, and effective.
Characters Rigs
When working with multiple characters, it's essential that rigs run smoothly and remain editable. Knowing I’d need several characters, I built a flexible rig system that could be easily duplicated and modified to add variety to each scene.
🔧 Key Tools Used:
✅ Pick Whips – Streamlined controls for linked animations.
✅ True Comp Duplicator – Efficiently duplicated and customized rigs while keeping the workflow smooth.
This setup allowed for quick edits and consistent animation, ensuring a seamless production process without sacrificing flexibility.
